Elm Workspace has completed installing the furniture for the new Keyworth II building for London Southbank University. Meticulous planning took place to install nearly 600 workstations as well as furnishing teaching and breakout areas. Elm has been working with the university and main contractors since early 2009 with designs, space planning and product suggestions. The project was completed within the time and budget schedules.
Elm Workspace were involved with local architects and main contractors to aid in the fit-out of a new cafeteria for Bath University, ensuring all works completed on time and to budget.

Our client retains the services of Elm Workspace for continuous changes including the recent build of a ‘think room’ and over 30 individual meeting rooms all completed in a single phase installation in the majority out of hours with the supply of new meeting tables and chairs.
All requirements were detailed by the client and met by Elm. A 2-3 week installation period was all that was needed to complete the 500 workstation scheme that included restaurant, reception and boardroom areas.
The client was fully satisfied with the results and the staff moves took place on time to schedule with minimum disruption Elm Workspace offer a complete service of space planning and analysis through to design.
Elm was brought in very early in the scheme to audit existing furniture at several sites and submit layouts proposals. In addition Elm was asked to submit designs for the new Restaurant, Reception and meeting room areas.
As part of the contract there was requirement to prepare a relocation plan which encompassed the supply of installation crews, vehicles and crates. A specific requirement from the client was that the whole move should take no longer than 24 hours.
The council decided to relocate and centralise their operations & services onto one site into three new three story buildings.
Elm was selected to assist with the planning, supply and installation of all the furniture requirements. The variety of products supplied range from standard stocked items to bespoke special designs. The contracts were completed on time and to specification.
