Stunning new reception furniture, designed for Good Energy

One of our ongoing clients, Good Energy, asked us to design a reception area combined with a multi functional environment.

What Was Involved?

The client requested a space that would make an impression on staff and visitors alike. They wanted to create a space for informal staff meetings and collaborative work, as well as somewhere to conduct company announcements. The space also needed to suitable for visitors, but a place where you could also sit with colleagues and guests.

How Did The Team Carry This Out?

The starting point was to remove and relocate an existing reception counter, before removing a series of internal partition walls. This allowed us to open up the space.

We could then create a waiting area for visitors, within what is a desirable mixed-use work and breakout area for Good Energy staff.

To make the atmosphere welcoming, relaxing and yet productive, we chose some interesting floor finishes and tied them into a colour palette which suited the company branding.

Mixed styles of seating also encourage different types of use of the area. From comfortable stylish chairs, which are ideal for break time or working on a laptop plugged into nearby power points; to the stool and bench seating which are perfect for ad-hoc meetings and discussion or eating one’s lunch.

All of these features made for a very happy client, who we enjoyed working with.
