Project Overview:
Our client required the transformation of a multifunctional room used for meetings, seminars, and video conferencing. Although the footprint of the space was modest, it needed to work hard — supporting a wide variety of layouts and delivering a professional, future-ready environment.
However, the existing space presented several barriers. Outdated furniture, AV equipment, and décor created a tired impression. Poor acoustics disrupted both in-person and virtual collaboration. Unsightly wall trunking distracted from the room’s appearance, while the lack of dedicated storage made layout changes cumbersome and inefficient.
Our Solution
Working closely with the client, our design team delivered a contemporary, flexible, and high-performance space. Every element was carefully considered to enhance usability, create visual impact, and provide long-term adaptability.
Bespoke Media Walls

Front Wall – Custom-built to house state-of-the-art AV equipment and bespoke glass whiteboards, while discreetly concealing surface-mounted trunking.

Back Wall – Designed to showcase an impressive 85” display screen with integrated storage cupboards for unused furniture. Folding tables can now be neatly stowed away when not required.

Both walls concealed cabling and trunking for a clean finish, yet ensured easy access to sockets and trip switches. To add visual distinction, a slate feature panel was introduced, giving the space a bold, professional backdrop.
Flexible Furniture
To maximise adaptability, we specified:

Stackable upholstered chairs – comfortable yet easy to store.

High-quality folding-leg tables – durable and reconfigurable for multiple layouts.
This flexibility allows the room to shift seamlessly between seminars, meetings, and collaborative sessions — ensuring it remains a practical, multipurpose space.
Acoustic & Power Enhancements

Acoustic treatments – Wall-mounted panels and ceiling tiles resolved sound issues, significantly improving clarity for both in-person and virtual presentations.

Mobile power towers – Introduced to give users access to power wherever it’s needed, removing limitations of fixed sockets and supporting today’s technology-driven teaching and learning.
