Raising Money For Wiltshire Air Ambulance: Race To The Stones Event

Throughout 2017, Elm Workspace are working to raise money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

They need £3.25m each year to keep their life saving ship in the air and they receive no government funding.

Elm Workspace want to raise £5,000 for this invaluable, lifesaving service. To do this, we will be completing a range of tasks and events and we need your kind sponsorship…

The Event in Focus: Completing the “Race To The Stones” Endurance Challenge

Amy, Tony, Paul, Greg, Daren and Ian are all aiming to complete the gruelling Race to the Stones event. They’ll be following in the footsteps of all who have travelled along this 5,000 year old footpath.

They’ll start out in Lewknow, Oxfordshire, cross the Thames at Goring and rise up onto the North Wessex Downs. After passing a route lined with Bronze Age hill forts, Roman river crossings and Nick’s first car, they will arrive at Avebury Stone Circle, the largest neolithic stone circle in Europe.

The team will complete the 100km route in two days and camp overnight on 15th July.

You can help us achieve our £5,000 goal by donating here. All donations are greatly received. Many, many thanks in advance.
