Sustainably sourced timber
All MFC panels in standard products are procured only from suppliers which are certified as using timber from sustainable sources. In addition, our manufacturers are members of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) and are committed to complying with the Policy for the Association of Organisations with FSC, FSC-POL-01-004 V2-0 EN, and FSC’s mission to promote the environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
We use fabrics that combat marine plastic pollution
We are proud to include Camira’s Oceanic to our range. Oceanic is a fabric born from the SEAQUAL Initiative designed to combat marine plastic pollution and achieve a waste free environment. Oceanic is a highly durable textile, tough enough for a life not only on the seas but also on the seats it furnishes. Blending a soft fluidity with a high level of performance, it is ideal for inclusion in a wide range of modern interiors. Carefully crafted colours with a refined colour selection of 16 shades, Oceanic combines muted, neutral hues with soft pastels and deep bolds to provide a versatile palette that echoes the shades visible on nature’s shoreline, as well as introducing a number of vibrant trend-led tones.
We understand the impact of deforestation
Deforestation is a global phenomenon caused by a variety of factors. These factors range from large-scale slash and burn practices to unsustainable agriculture to daily community forest destruction.
There are two key elements to successful reforestation. The first is that reforestation must present benefit to the local population and the second critical element rest in funding. Without donors, business partners and grants, there is little hope for successful and impactful reforestation.
We’re fully compliant
Our commitment to the environment is reflected in our manufacturers compliance to ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 9001 Quality Management System accreditations of which environmental concerns forms a substantive part. As a company we strive to always be environmentally aware and aim to continually improve our environmental performance through the implementation of the following:
